ABSTRACT |
Objective : This study was done to investigate the effect of Samgiyeum(SGY) and Tongbiyeum(TBY) on cytotoxicity and protection of PC12 cells and B103 cells induced by amyloid β protein (25-35), KCN induced coma, focal brain ischemia by MCA occulusion, pulmonary thrombosis induced by collagen and epinephrine, intravascular coagulation induced by dextran were investigated respectively.
Methods : We measured the protective effects by SGY and TBY on cytotoxicity of PC12 cells and B103 cells induced by amyloid β protein(25-35) with the dependence of density. secondly we observed the decrease of brain ischemic area and edema induced by MCA occlusion.
Result: SGY and TBY were showed a protective effect on pulmonary thromboembolism induced by collagen and epinephrine (SGY : 60%, TBY : 70%). SGY and TBY were suppresed the platelet decresing, TBY was suppresed the platelet decreasing, TBY was suppresed the APPT delaying and the rate of blood flow decresing in intravascular coagulation induced by dextran. SGY and TBY were showed a significant increase of blood flow.
Conclusion: TBY and SGY have antithrombotic effectS and brain demage protective effects. |
