ABSTRACT
Objectives:
This case study reports on the effectiveness of traditional Korean medicine in treating Parkinson’s disease.


Method:

A patient with Parkinson’s disease was treated with herbal medicine, acupuncture, and pharmacopuncture. The improvement in Parkinson’s disease symptoms was measured using self-evaluation of the change in symptoms.

Results:
The use of traditional Korean medicine treatments appeared to show improvement in Parkinson’s disease symptoms.

Conclusion:
The results of this case study suggest that traditional Korean medicine may be a possible treatment option for Parkinson’s disease.
